Were you poking yourself when “Water for Elephants” was contracted to become a movie, and when some little actors by the names of Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon agreed to be in it?
I have to stop and pause and knock on wood right now. The closer it comes to being real, the more superstitious I get. It’s Hollywood. It can all go poof, still. Things are looking as good as they can.

Are you involved with the project at all?
They’re letting us have the whole family in it as a cameo. I think we’re all going to be on in the midway or something. My kids are really excited about that, and I am, too, because that sounds like so much fun. I asked (the producers), and they said sure. So we’ll be in the background in a restaurant or on the midway and be a fast thing (on screen), but we’ll know where it is and the kids will be excited.

What do the three kids think now about mom’s career? Did the cinema thing raise your stature in their eyes?
No. I think the Robert Pattinson thing raised the stature of my oldest child in the school because all the girls are crazy about him. My 9-year-old asks me every time I get back from a book signing if I wrote a new book. He thinks I write a book a day. He has no concept of what I do.

On the day Oprah Winfrey premiered the new trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on her program, word arrived of an even bigger vampire invasion next month.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Dakota Fanning are all scheduled to appear on “Oprah” on May 13 to promote Eclipse.

Pattinson, Stewart, and Lautner appeared together on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” back in November for New Moon.

Twilight film star Robert Pattinson, 23, worth £13m, is the top new entry in the list of young millionaires aged 30 and under, ranking 14th. According to Perez Hilton the movers and shakers at Summit Entertainment have bought the exclusive movie rights to the NY Times #1 Bestseller Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus and if they want to make it a family affair, they should stick with two stars they already KNOW will be perfect for the roles.

Summit is the company that is bringing The Twilight Saga to the screen, but it looks like the next installment will mark the end of the series.

So what better story to cover next than MAFM,WAFV?

Think about it... it's a built-in lock! By the time StewPatz are free to make the film they'll already have hit a wall in their relationship where each finds it hard to understand the other. The press will be speculating about the split even MORE than we are guessing at the supposed union. AND Rob already knows how to do an American accent.

As we had previously reported to you, Summit Entertainment has plans to bring the 2010 film “Remember Me” starring Robert Pattinson (of “Twilight” film fame), Emilie de Ravin (of TV’s “LOST” fame), Chris Cooper and Pierce Brosnan to Blu-ray Disc on June 22nd. The title is available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with a $31.49 price tag. The tech specs have yet to be officially announced but they have now outlined the bonus materials set to be included which are listed below.

Today, in London, Robert is free to speak from the heart, without the screaming, crying or hyperventilating fans. Still, he's frustrated, squirms in his chair, drumming the table. Robert has made shyness and lack of self-confidence his trademark.

The Pattz Hysteria began a few years ago, with Twilight. With the third installment coming out this summer and the fourth in production, Pattz fever won't be cooling down for quite a while.

When in the U.S., Robert does nothing in his spare time, a prisoner. He plays guitar, eats and watches movies, whatever you can do in a hotel room. His old friends, sisters or girlfriend take turns staying with him. (does not mention K-Stew by name)

The papparazzi news are not interesting. If you want to stay out of the tabloids, it works if you stay within 4 walls.

At home, in London's rainy Soho streets, he's free to wander, with his hat and beard just like anyone else.

"I didn't remember that it could be so peaceful. It's been fantastic." He wonders if it is because of the indifference of Londoners, or his beard, which hides his recognizable square jaw and thin red lips.

"If it's the beard, then I pray I can keep it for my next role."

Another reason he's arguably grateful for his red hair is that it hasn't quite turned him into a teen sensation. While his face doubtless adorns many a teenage girl's wall, he doesn't really suffer from the hysteria that greets Twilight star Robert Pattinson – just two years older than Grint – wherever he goes. "I get recognised occasionally but nothing like that," he says. "It's crazy. You just can't really go anywhere. I've got a much more manageable existence. Must be pretty..." He stops for a second, imagining such an intrusion into his life. "It's just come from nowhere [for him]. It's such a quick thing. Good luck to him."

Saturday Night Live head honcho Lorne Michaels told OK! they’re still trying to get Robert Patttinson to play host!

Back in April 2009, OK! asked Lorne if R-Pattz would be hosting SNL.

“Not this season,” he said at Natural Resources Defense Council 11th annual Forces For Nature benefit in NYC. “We’re all locked in with the hosts for this year.”

But he still held out hope for securing the vampire hottie in the future.

“Yeah, yeah, of course,” he said.

Unfortunately, not much has changed.

“We asked him this season,” Lorne told OK! Monday night at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Presents An Evening with Saturday Night Live in NYC. “And then he did Jimmy’s show and that went well for him..”

It sounds like Lorne might be more confident in Rob’s comedic skills after seeing him on Jimmy Fallon’s show! Back in 2009, he was slightly skeptical if the Twilight star would make a good host. “Don’t know,” Lorne said. “You never know.” But now he hopes he’ll host soon. “Yeah,” Lorne admitted.

While we thought R-Pattz was very funny on Jimmy’s show, would you even want to see him host SNL?

A report widely disseminated earlier today made big waves by claiming that “key scenes” in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse need to be reshot in Vancouver, and speculated that the development indicated production on the June release was troubled.

Gossip Cop looked into it, and we have the exclusive answers.

First, regarding the implication that these reshoots were unexpected, an authorized rep for the studio tells Gossip Cop, “The reshoot was planned for months, like it is with the majority of films.”

Let Gossip Cop settle some other false rumors.

Contrary to today’s inaccurate speculation, “creative differences” have not led Summit to consider bringing in another director for the reshoots.

David Slade is 100% directing them, like he did the entire movie, and the studio is “very happy” with his direction of the film, which internally is believed to be the best of the series.

As for the timing, speculation that there will be three rushed days of 18-hour shoots is incorrect. The Summit rep tells Gossip Cop that it’s a two-and-a-half to three-day shoot, and that “very little” actually has to be reshot.

But the biggest misconception concerned the specific scenes alleged to be those in need of a reshoot. The rep confirms to Gossip Cop, “None of the meadow or action scenes are being reshot.”

Asked to comment on today’s alarmist rumors, the authorized rep for the studio tells Gossip Cop, “Reports much like the one earlier today are ploys to drive traffic without any merit and without any support from the studio on what is actually going on or true.”

Gossip Cop will continue to bring accurate “Eclipse” production news before the film’s June theatrical release.
