Bella Swan is reunited with the love of her life (and vampire), Edward Cullen. Her life is back to the way it was before the Cullens left, except for one major thing. Before Edward left, Bella had not considered Jacob Black (werewolf) her best friend, and she is in vain trying to make Edward and Jacob make peace and be friends. She is torn between the love she feels for Edward and the strong friendship between her and Jacob. Can she make them see reason, and can they be good to each other to keep from hurting Bella? And there are new dangers lurking around the corners; Seattle is stalked by mass murderers beyond humanity. Who's behind this, and what connection does it have with Bella? Everyone sparkles.

• NEW INTERVIEW WITH KLICK - SWEDEN MAGAZINE
Posted on 04 Apr 2010 by Michelle

In "Remember me", Robert Pattinson, 23, has Swedish Lena Olin as his mother, Pierce Brosnan as his father and the "Lost"-actress Emelie de Ravin as his girlfriend. With those surrounding him and being named as our new James Dean, he is obviously this weeks Kex!
- Thanks, I guess...

Last time we met you said you hadn't been affected by your fame since you were spending most of your time making movies. Has that changed or are you still able to go to the pub with your friends and have a beer?
- Working in England is the opposite of working in the States. When I was having dinner at a London pub the other day, a waitress came up to me and said how much I looked like the guy from "Twilight". She said, "You could be his brother".
- Other who recognize me in London are almost a little embarrassed and don't even want to look at me.

How are your family members handling it?
- Mom is still calling every day asking about all the gossip. My sisters have no problems, except from getting their Facebook accounts hacked from time to time.

What do you tell your mom?
- I hate having to promote myself to my family. I don't want people I know to read things about me since they might get the wrong impression.

You are an executive producer for this movie. What did that mean?
- I was asked about the casting. But I had no oppositions. I thought Emilie de Ravin was the best by far out of those who read for the part.

You got to have a Swedish mother in the movie.
- Lena, yeah. What an amazing actress she is. I liked to study her when she was working. It was shame that we didn't have more scenes together.

What was your first love like?
- Romantic and beautiful. But then it got worse. She broke up with me (laughs) and there isn't much more to say about that.

How old were you?
- I was 19 or 20.

In an interview recently you said that you're closest to your dog. What did you mean by that?
- I was kind of joking when I said that. But she was special and had been a family member for many years when she passed away last year. She was as much of a sister as anyone else.

Do you have a new dog now?
- No.

Are you planning on getting one?
- I don't think so.
He makes a nervous laugh and lowers his eyes.
- I get so emotional by this.

Which would you choose - break someone's heart, or getting your heart broken?
- Simple - even though I shouldn't say it: break someone's heart.
- It takes so long for my heart to heal. Or maybe it gets broken too often. Sometimes it feels like I have my heart broken every day.

• ROB TALKS ABOUT FANS, FAME AND FIGHTING
Posted on 02 Apr 2010 by Michelle

Move over Hugh Grant and Daniel Craig. Right now, Robert Pattinson is the biggest British movie star in Hollywood. Since hit vampire films Twilight and New Moon, R-Patz mania has exploded. Once, girls left notes on his car windscreen. Now they set themselves on fire outside his hotel.

"You start getting a bit paranoid," he admits. "Looking around when you're walking down the street, in case you get mobbed by teenage girls."

When Pattinson, 23, shot his latest film, romantic drama Remember Me, in New York, the hysteria almost killed him. Spotted by a bunch of 'Twi-hards' (as his obsessive fans are known), he crossed the road - narrowly missing being hit by a taxi. Everywhere, fans crowded to watch him shoot scenes with co-star Emilie de Ravin.

"It was mad," he says. "I didn't see it coming. I thought it was going to be a little film shot in New York, and I'd be able to just hang out!"

For Pattinson, those days are long gone. "I spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to not be seen," he explains. "It's annoying but the pay-off is infinite.

If no one finds out where you're staying, if people aren't following you, or outside a restaurant if you have dinner there... then it's great."

The big question is over his relationship with Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart. The pair reputedly got together when filming New Moon, but when Stewart collected the Orange Rising Star Bafta in February, they arrived separately - presumably to avoid a 'Twi-hard' riot. Does he find it even more difficult to go out with Stewart?

"It's difficult either way," he says, refusing to elaborate. "When the spotlight seems centred on you, the best thing is to remain as much of a mystery as you can."

If R-Patz isn't quite ready to cuddle up to Kristen in public, his new film casts him as a modern-day Romeo. He plays Tyler, a rich kid rebel who falls for de Ravin's student, despite her father's objections.

"I wanted to play something grounded in reality, a solid story of normal people," he says.

Is he a romantic? "In a confused way," he nods. "I think I try. The way to be romantic is to be uncynical and innocent about relationships. I am innocent about that."

He admits going to slushy movies. "I really like The Notebook" - further proof he's every teen girl's ideal man.

But, in common with his Remember Me character, Pattinson admits a history of getting into fights.

"I've been beaten up a few times," he says. "I generally don't see it coming... it's been a few years, though."

It's hard to imagine this gentle-looking boy, who grew up with two elder sisters, slugging it out. Is he a peaceful guy at heart?

"Not really," he grins. "I just like wounds!"

But could the pressure of fame be getting to him? On its first US weekend, Remember Me took just $8 million (£5.3m) - way off the records New Moon set.

"You see articles, 'If this doesn't make any money, what's his worth to the world?'" he cries. "I don't know! Nothing!"

Does he ever think of rebelling against this life?

"Yeah," he nods. "I didn't go through a rebellious streak when I was younger and now I'll suddenly rebel against stuff completely unnecessarily."

In truth, Pattinson's upbringing was sound, his parents encouraging him to act. "They're really proud," he says. "They think it's more impressive than I do. It's just luck to me. I never set out to find fame. It's strange."

How so? "I still have to learn how to make my life work."

Not that the madness engulfing him will let up any time soon. Third Twilight film Eclipse is due in summer and he is now shooting Bel Ami with Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci. In October he films Breaking Dawn, the final in the Twilight saga. It's why he likes living in Los Angeles.

"I like the isolation. If you want to be alone, you're really alone in LA."

At least with Kristen by his side, Pattinson will be anything but lonely.

• EMILIE TALKS ABOUT HER CHEMISTRY WITH ROB

• PIERCE BROSNAN IMPRESSED BY ROBERT PATTINSON
Posted on 01 Apr 2010 by Michelle

Pierce Brosnan has revealed his 'Remember Me' co-star Robert Pattinson was pursued by beautiful girls on set every day.

The former James Bond star - who plays Robert's estranged father in the gripping family drama - had to make do with older admirers while the 23-year-old heartthrob soaked up the attention of screaming teenagers.

Pierce, who shot the movie with Robert in New York, told Empire magazine: "I remember being outside the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan. We were shooting in the Oak Room and there were 2,000 girls out there from 12 to 21. Actually, there were some gorgeous looking girls out there, but they weren't around my caravan. I had the mothers at my end and some beauties there were too! But it was very sedate by my end of the motor homes. I'd walk out and get a hearty cheer. I'd trip up the steps of the Plaza feeling very good with myself that I still have the juice. But as I'd be walking down the corridors into the Plaza I would hear this wave, this cacophony of sound as girls clamoured for Robert. His girls go through the rafters for him."

The 56-year-old star thinks Robert - who has become an international heartthrob after playing vampire Edward Cullen in the 'Twilight' movies - will be able to handle his enormous fame, but he personally finds it almost incomprehensible.

He added: "I never experienced anything like that as a young man of 23. I'm sure he'll weather the waters swimmingly. He's a grand lad and I wish him well in every way."

• LA PROVINCIA INTERVIEWS ROB
Posted on 30 Mar 2010 by Michelle

Is your character in RM the closest interpretation of your on personality?
No. I think it’s impossible to represent yourself being fully aware of what you’re trying to do. I try to choose characters that are not like me at all. The more unknown they are to me, the better I can play them because then I don’t feel vulnerable.

Do you like the tortured characters?
Those are the ones that I’m being offered. Subconsciously I try to be like my characters, and I live my fantasies through them. I’d love to be a confused young person that fights for his ideals, but I’m not like that.

Everyone beats him up in RM.
I prefer to be hit than hitting. It’s more interesting.

How would you describe the movie?
It’s a movie about a life style, about love and the desire to live. The story is told through the eyes of Tyler, who is not aware of the consequences of the relationships he has.

Trauma seems to be everyone’s bond in the movie.
Yes, all the characters in the movie have faced death somehow, losing a family member. So there’s a connection with them through grief.

This is your first movie since New Moon, is that a relief?
Yes. I wanted to do a smaller film. Something with a modest budget that I could film in between filming the Twilight movies. I wanted a story that was more realistic because I was getting a bit tired of the fantasy genre. I needed to play a regular character that faced normal issues.

Do you feel the pressure of fame now?
Yes, and the industry’s pressure as well. It’s almost like everybody is looking at me. Some people are just waiting to see me crash and burn, others are convinced that I’m going to make it. But in any case, I don’t care about people’s expectations. I’m the only one who has to worry about my career.

Eclipse is right around the corner…
I know. And I’m a little angy because people will forget about my performance in Remember Me, and keep the idea they had before about me. I thought Eclipse would come out 3 months after RM, but no. I just hope the expectation doesn’t overshadow the movie itself, because the third installemnt won’t be very different from the first two.

Mattel has a doll with your image, there’s unauthorized biographies of you, photographers follow you everywhere. Do you feel like a brand?
Yes. Fame can be a moster that consumes your life. The only thing that bothers me is people who think they know me and try to relate to a determined image of me. I don’t mind if Hollywood sees me as the tortured teenager. I’ll change that perception with my work. In this industry all they care about is that you make money. It doesn’t matter if you’re the next super-hero, or the next vampire, of the next lead in a romantic comedy.

Is it hard to rest after so much attention?
It’s very hard. There’s nothing I can do but try to find moments of peace, otherwise I’d go insane. It’s annoying when people scream for you on the streets or on the supermarket, or when you’re with your friends at a pub. I appreciate my fans and their support, I’m thankful and I know I wouldn’t be where I am without them. The most annoting part is living with 100 photographers outside my house, because they never stop, I live hiding from them.

• REMEMBER ME BOX OFFICE UPDATE
Posted on 30 Mar 2010 by Michelle

Robert Pattinson’s Remember Me has been called a downright box-office flop by some. That isn’t correct. A box-office disappointment, sure, but definitely not a flop considering its $16 million price tag.

Even if Summit Entertainment spent that same amount — or several million more — promoting and distributing the film, Remember Me will most likely end up in the black after worldwide box-office rentals (not grosses, as exhibitors keep about 50% of the share) and ancillary revenues are added up.

At the domestic box office — United States and Canada — Remember Me has grossed $14.5 million after 12 days. Day-to-day revenues have varied widely, with increases and decreases at times reaching 20%.

Overseas, Remember Me has opened in only a handful of major movie markets since March 11. According to country figures found at Box Office Mojo, Remember Me has grossed $5.42 million at the international box office as of March 21. That places its worldwide total at about $20 million.

The three top markets have been Russia with $1.824 million, Brazil with $1.118m, and Australia with $916K. Further down the list are Greece with $316K and Sweden with $279K.

Remember Me will open in major markets such as Japan, China, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain, South Korea, Mexico, and France in the coming weeks. Expect revenues to soar even if Remember Me doesn’t turn out to be a bona fide success.

• EMILIE DE RAVIN TALKS ABOUT ROB, REMEMBER ME, AND SHOOTING IN NEW YORK
Posted on 29 Mar 2010 by Michelle

With her new film, Emilie de Ravin has hit the jackpot. Not only does she get to cavort in steamy scenes with heartthrob du jour Robert Pattinson (OMG! RPattz!) in Remember Me, but she gets to bask in the heat of a talked-about movie that, without Pattinson's involvement, may have been another under-the-radar romantic drama.

Pattinson's first project since the unprecedented success of the Twilight films sees him as an angry rich kid – sans creepy vampire makeup – who falls in love with a ballsy young philosophy student, played by de Ravin. At 28 – five years Pattinson's senior – she is still girlish enough to pass for 21.

You'll most likely recognise the Australian actress de Ravin as the young mother Claire in Lost (currently in its explosive sixth series on Sky1), but her association with Pattinson has catapulted her into the celebrity weeklies.

When we meet in New York, where the film is set, a blizzard is raging outside the hotel window. Like Pattinson, she seems embarrassed about her success, shrugging off compliments and rolling her eyes at talk of fans and paparazzi. "I get recognised," she says with a dismissive wave, "but I'm not the sort of person who frequents popular clubs. I try to keep out of that."

De Ravin is part of a new breed of celebrity – like Pattinson and his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart – who shun the glamour and adulation that many see as a perk of the job. When de Ravin slouched onto the red carpet at the London premiere of Remember Me recently, grinning awkwardly in her black Oscar de la Renta mini-dress, she and Pattinson looked as though they would rather be anywhere else.

Despite their 'I'm-so-normal' faηade, journalists are warned not to ask about their private lives on pain of death. A hovering publicist peers up from her BlackBerry at the mere hint of a personal question to de Ravin (it could be worse: no less than three handlers accompany Pattinson during his interview). But this much we know: she married the American actor Josh Janowicz in June 2006 after being together for four years. The couple separated last year, but are rumoured to have reunited.

"Love is such an objective thing," she says, in a suitably vague answer to a necessarily vague question about love. "I mean, I can say I love my family, or I love my Diet Coke," she continues, gesturing towards her Coke can. "So I guess, in different ways, yeah, I do believe in love."

But in terms of relationships?

"It's different with every person. It depends if it... clicks. It's chemistry."

Either way, if she's in love when we meet, there is no ring on her finger. Of course she was romantically linked to Pattinson during filming, but RPattz could star opposite Ellen DeGeneres and there would be rumours. Having said that, the young stars' on-screen chemistry is undeniable. Viewers will be surprised to learn they met just one week before filming commenced.

"She's really cool," says Pattinson, pushing back his James Dean-esque mane, when we meet later that afternoon. "She was actually the last girl we saw and she was cast on the day of her audition, so we went straight out to a bar. It was so close to filming that we didn't have time to rehearse. But she got it right from the beginning, so it was easy."

De Ravin agrees that the best preparation was getting to know each other. "Our relationship in the film is intense," she nods. "We spent a lot of time together, talking about our characters and their relationship, because it's so important to be comfortable together. Then, when we were actually shooting, everything fell into place and felt natural. It didn't ever feel like we were reading a scene or going through the motions."

Watching Pattinson brooding or de Ravin screaming at her on-screen father (Chris Cooper), I have to ask: did they manage to have any fun on set?

"If you're getting ready to do a really emotional scene then, right before it, you're probably not going to be outside playing basketball," she shrugs. "But everybody involved was passionate about it so there was a good vibe."

Having not spent much time in New York before landing the role, de Ravin has now fallen in love with the city. "New York is a character in the film," she smiles, either not noticing or not caring what a clichι that is. "It was great to be able to walk around the city on days off. And it's so rare to be able to shoot in the real locations. When we have dinner, we were actually in The Oak Room and when we were doing a scene in the house Ally [her character] grew up in, that was in Queens."

Of course, the downside of shooting around the city is that Twilight fans and paparazzi had easy access to locations.

"It was distracting at times," admits de Ravin. "We shot 90 per cent on location in Manhattan or Queens so it was very accessible. It's not like they can close down Central Park. So it was difficult for Rob and I to figure out the logistics of a rehearsal when you've got thousands of people watching. Even if you're not looking at them, you're aware of it. It can be hard to focus."

So there you go: Emilie de Ravin is a study in laid-back cool. One of that frustrating breed of beautiful I-just-rolled-out-of-bed-and-this-is-how-I-look people. A lot like Robert Pattinson in fact. So, when she was filming scenes with RPattz, who spent the most time on their hair?

She explodes with laughter: "Oh come on! Totally Rob," she grins, before shaking her head at the ridiculousness of the question and, more seriously, adding, "Neither one of us really did much. It was just like... " she mimes messing up her hair with devil-may-care nonchalance.

Then she shrugs again.
